i had a really nice weekend. friday night was my mom's 60th bday party. it was a tango theme. my back hurt like hell so i enjoyed the party until like 10 or 11 when i had to lie down on the couch and remove myself from the hoopla. there i am, 29, and i can't outlast the 60 year olds. not good. but the good news is that i got new drugs from my doctor on saturday and they've been making a difference. less pain. more non-pain. anyway, saturday i watched tivo and hung out a little bit with my rents. and sunday i played some wii with mikey and teresa and then played a marathon day of poker from 2-10! crazy. addicted. and fun. this week is a busy work week, plus the mpls jewish film festival is going on and i think my attendance is expected at least for a few of them. |
