it's been pretty busy in my world lately. friday night i saw melissa cadmus. we went to chang mai thai and also Pi. we didn't get to stay at Pi long because she forgot her ID. but it was a fun jaunt nonetheless. then we played some Wii. Saturday was wait for the Israelis to come in until about 5. i didn't do a whole lot before then. but once they came in it has been a whirlwind. we had a fun dinner saturday night at home. picnic/bbq style. then sunday was canoeing (actually my dad and i stayed home and cooked indian food but the troops went out canoeing) and then we went over to sarah moscovices for pizza and fun and Poker! yesterday dan and i took the workday off and spent the day with the family at taylor's falls. we went on a hike and took a boat down the st. croix river. the only mishap was at the a&w root beer stand where we intended to get a late lunch and all got out of our cars to discover lots of bees and i got a big lecture about not carrying my bee kit and we had to leave. it was quite a scene. my mom instigated the scene. and i got upset too. i just felt like she started talking to me like a child. and that is no good. no good at all. then we came home and finished cooking the wonderful indian feast. i did get a chance to talk to toni yesterday. it's all still somewhat confused and confusing but i'm feeling better and more secure about getting on that plane and meeting her in costa rica. which at this point is like 11 days away. yeah. good thing i'm feeling better. it is rushing up like nobody's business. |
