you know something is up when the majority of your incoming phone calls come from medical professionals. i spent yesterday trying to track down my biopsy slides so i could get a second opinion and played phone tag with the pathology unit at methodist most of the day, i get calls back from my surgeon's nurse because i need them to fill out an FMLA form in case i'm out for longer than the sick time that i have accrued which means the form will secure my job and then just now i got a confirmation of my therapy appt for next tuesday. and the funny thing is that it's all the same number that calls. i guess their system is set up that way. so i never know what it's all about. it's just medical, so i pick it up. |
