this weekend was great. i had a sleepy friday night in which i crashed at like 8pm and mostly slept through the night except for a few short interruptions. saturday was see antonia's brother perform at first ave day, and also make yummy vegetable soup for sick girlfriend day. and then after some recovery, we made it out of the house again to see freedom writers, which we had attempted to see for a good month or so. it was worth it in the end. some tears were shed. hilary swank was appropriately loveable and dorky. and we had yummy indian food for dinner, of which i will revisit again today for lunch. i hope i can talk my mom out of wanting to see notes on a scandal tonight. i have little to no interest. i'm suggesting dinner and scrabble, but she has been anti-scrabble lately so we'll see how it goes. i finally brought in some lotion and fun things for my walls at work to look at. happy bday nsg. |
