yesterday afternoon antonia came to my new place of work to check out my view and meet my colleagues and to see where i spend my days nowadays. it would have gone somewhat smoother if i could explain better where the heck this building is, but since it's all sorts of hidden away it was tricky. but we made it. she made it here and although it was a brief tour of my daytime world, i was happy she made it over. after that we went to tum rup thai which was so delicious i think i could eat there for dinner every night and then went home and shared movie/tv stuff which meant i watched some of robin hood and she watched top chef. it was amusing to watch antonia get so into top chef, she was like, c'mon the commercials over, let's watch! and i was like, woh. yeah, i woh. anyway, after all that we had this talk that was like, and then i was thinking and then when you said that i was thinking and then earlier when you said that i felt and it was good to do that because i want to figure out how her brain works which i know is impossible but atleast i want to understand more about the inner workings of her thought processes and that is such a challenge and also i know mine is a puzzle to her as well. good times. really good. |
