yesterday i made almost as much money in one day that i will make the rest of the week. hooray for being overpaid for doing rich friends a favor! plus she's got more work for me over the weekend and president's day (which i have off anyway). so i'm on the path to mucho mula! very exciting. i feel slightly like i shouldn't get paid as much as she wants to pay me, but i don't know. it's really a hard call. i'll try to sneak in some free work for her if i can. it's like we're both doing each other a favor, and it's not putting her out financially, so i think it'll all work out in the end. plus editing and proofreading and helping format her thesis is kind of fun work. if only she had a FT job for me! i'm back at the U today, back to my never ending excel database. the never ending is a good thing because i kind of like this project. and she didn't seem to mind that i skipped out on yesterday it's snow/raining here today. very slippy. |
