it is only 11am and i have already finished my first crossword puzzle of the day. oops. i did cheat a little. but not tons. some of the clues are just impossible. how am i supposed to know that a buffalo bunch is hero? or that the clue lariat is supposed to be riata? i mean c'mon. some of it is just learning a whole new language. which i'm totally willing to do since i have all the proper equipment. time, a desk, and many many puzzles. i may not do anything else today other than crosswording. and take an extra long lunch cause i can't sit for that long uninterrupted. and during lunch time i'll go for a walk because it's surprisingly nice outside. sunny and whatnot. it's been getting chilly, but not winter coat chilly just yet. tonight my bro will go see ben folds. but i'm pretty much over him. i saw him once, and it was fun, but i think that was enough for me. i will enjoy having the apartment to myself. cause when dan's home he's usually watching soccer on the big tv in the living room, which is cool, but i don't much enjoy watching soccer. so i watch in my room, also cool. but sometimes it's nice too take over the whole place. not all the time because it's fun cooking for him, and if he were never home i'd never get to cook for two. cooking for one is very difficult. so i'm glad i don't do that much. there are other reasons it's nice when he's home but right now only the cooking bonus stands out. i still can't believe they want to pay me for just hanging out here. yeaterday i was given 5-10 minutes of work work. today none so far. very very strange. but that's cool. that's why they call it a temp job. cause i don't think i can do this forever. but for a while, sure. especially in the winter when i'd be holed up in my apartment with no where to go anyway. 9 day countdown to sarah's visit and my b-day! yes. |
