i mostly spent time w my rents this weekend, which was nice until my mom upset me about this october wedding travel stuff in which i will not get airfare help unless i go on the exact same dates she wants to travel and take all these vacation days instead of just going for the weekend. it's maddening. and i hope she reconsiders. i'm always a little surprised when this happens, we're going along, having a nice time, and then wham! i guess we're going to argue now. fun times! anyway, i haven't seen much of my ladyfriend lately either and that is not a happy thing for me. so it's kind of been blah lately around here. i did pickle this weekend. and that was a fun time. i'm hoping to eventually, after many summers of pickling, have the best pickles around town. but, until then, i'm pretty sure this summer's recipe will be a smash. |
