it's been a busy time in my life lately. summer is all about traveling and having friends visit and it's busy busy busy and fun. toni and i went to rochester, mn for the dfl convention, and went to madison for a wedding (the latter was the most fun of those two) and next week on thursday we leave for winnipeg! wooohoo. and i'll have my nerve blocker shot for my pinched nerve on tuesday so i'm hoping to be in tip top shape for the big weekend. just in case we made hotel reservations and i think we'll enjoy staying clean and having a bed to crash on. we'll miss out on the grunginess of the camping and some of the socializing but i think that's okay this time around. plus we're not really going with a group of our friends. it's just us, and dan and two of his friends, so we won't miss out too much this year. i'm so excited to just have a few days to relax and listen to great music and swim and have toni time. we saw young@heart this weekend with ab and db and it was really great. it's been fun having them around. although i wish i could do more with them. now that it's the work week i'm pretty busy. but we got a lot of good time in over the weekend. tonight i'm taking them to the tea house for spicy hot chinese foods. good times. |
