there is a chance i can avoid/postpone surgery. i talked my endocrinologist into it. she was not a fan of the idea. but i think this is a good idea for me. surgery is so drastic. so we're going to put me on this drug that should help determine in about 6 weeks whether surgery is really the best option. definitely feeling good about that. gives me a chance to get my bearings about the whole thing. |
