last night was meet toni's grandma night and it went really quite well. i had a lot of anxiety about it because of her religious perspective but she is very kind and warm and friendly. so, it was great. after dinner we went over to toni's mom's and all watched blood diamond and decided that this is what it should be like with toni's family (minus the stress of the step-dad and his presence that is less than friendly). so, all in all i think we were both relieved and even pleasantly surprised. and i would be happy to spend more time with all of them. |
