dan bern show was fun, but not his BEST
so far Passim was his absolute best
and holy crap so mikey and teresa and neil (who i knew were going but didn't know would be participants iny concert experience) started drinking at 2 in the afternoon, met me and maggie at grandma's saloon at 6, continued to drink, and by the time dan bern rolled around i think each of them could be considered WASTED by any measure of the term. mikey wasted involved him being SO happy and getting a lot of hugs and back rubs, plus him singing aloud to the songs he knew (highly irritating but dan bern didn't play a lot of familiar songs so we were all in luck). teresa wasted meant putting nearby seats together as a makeshift bed and sometimes annoying the hell out of the people in front of her by putting her head on the back of their chairs sometimes touching them. those people HATED her, and us by extension. i kept asking Maggie "who brought those drunk people?" to maybe cast aside suspision that it was us. i don't think it worked though. and neil wasted meant he disappeared about 1/2 an hour into the show. it is still a mystery where he went off to. i will have to check in later with michael to make sure everyone made it back to their respectable living establishments.
