when good news comes in, it really comes in in the last 24 hours i've been offered 4! (count them FOUR), job interviews. one is a legal advocate for a domestic violence center (bad news is that it's in blaine which is a 45 min commute - but i do that right now on the bus anyway), two of them are UofM stupid jobs but better than the one that i have now (including pay increases), and the fourth is a Liberal Arts advising position at the U (which I totally WANT). i think i want that one the most. but the legal advocate deal would be a great job too. in any case, i'm psyched that i finally got the ball rolling on the interview scene. i guess i finally got my resume in respectable order. or something. but yay, now i may even have some leverage before accepting a position. this is great! now back to complaining, man, i don't want to be here at this silly desk today. but i will finish up this one project, and then get back to my book to figure out more about myself. that's always fun... |
