i am looking forward to a low key weekend tonight i most likely (unless i fall asleep first) will make it out to see a new lady folkie named lindsay mac at a coffee shop in st. paul. yay for free shows. tomorrow morning i have a coffee date with a potential new friend. i am looking forward to this coffee date the most of all of the new friend dates that i've gone on recently because we've actually talked quite a bit already and i sort of feel like i know her even though i haven't met her and she does funny things like cooks thanksgiving turkeys in crock pots and gets attccked my tall ladders while trying to do home improvements. so i think i might enjoy someone who does such things. also i intend to see brokeback mountain tomorrow during the daytime, and lucky for me i struck a deal with nsg last night and scored a vietnamese soup date for saturday night. my friend dev is in town as well but i think it'll be a busy weekend for her and i'll probably have to catch her during the work week. in other news, i just have a four day week next week and them i'm off for 7 whole work days, which is two long weekend and a whole week. and i already arranged for a rental car so i will be tooling all about town doing who knows what but i'm excited about it. i know i just was on an extended vacation for many months but this feels different because it's limited and i've been working for a while now. so yay for vacations and xmas and new years. |
