twas a busy pumpkin-y weekend. i made robert, who you may have met in my previous entry or on my photoblog. he and cliff the pumpkin were making out. so we decided that they were gay pumpkins. i just hope robert doesn't get smashed by the kids tonight like everyone says he will be. saturday that i had another bloody mary fest. this time i made them for mikey. and they were hella good. there is nothing better than a cup of coffee and a bloody mary to start up a saturday. then there was IKEA where naomi bought a lot of things and i bought 4 candles. Ikea was having a 20th birthday party so there was cake and a 15% discount. It really should have been 20% considering the number of birthday's they were celebrating, so I couldn't really figure that one out exactly. cass came in town because i wanted to do the pumpkins on sunday, and so she stayed over and i had to change dan's sheets for her because apparently he only changes them about once a month, which i told him is not okay. but in a coup de etat i convinced him to clean the stovetop yesterday and it looks really nice. but yeah, gross sheets. even in my most grossest phase i change them once every two weeks. but now that i have free laundry right downstairs it makes it easy to do once a week. also i sneaked in to work a half hour late today and nobody noticed. i usually sneak out about a half hour early too unnoticed. it's funny working at a job where you get paid to pretty much sit around (although today i have to work on a powerpoint) and not get too much notice. i kind of like it because even though i'm not, i sort of feel like i'm setting my own schedule. let's see how long i can get away with this... is that the slacker attitude or the realistic attitude of not needing to sit in a cube for no apparent reason? you tell me. |
