i've been getting up between 7 and 8 for the last week in order to have driving privileges. i haven't taken much advantage of said privileges though. so maybe i will be okay stuck in south minneapolis without a car. i am not too excited about that. it's significantly worse than being stuck in JP without a car. no harvest. no jp licks. but i am told there is an indie theater up the street and a nice bakery. once i get my bike fixed up it will be my main source of transportation. until then i just get a lot of rides and take the bus. the mpls bus system is significantly less helpful than the boston bus system, so that will not be a big help. anyway, today is buy a bed day. also it's unpack a lot of stuff day. and run errands day. i'm still all smelly from all the moving last night. the moving lasted from 4pm to 10pm yesterday. only about 45 minutes of that was my stuff. damn my brother had a lot of crap. but i got a desk in the bargain. so i like that. and next i go make it work. |
