yesterday was a busy day involving job hunting, watching some wonderfalls off the wb, bbqing with aj who put together the most colorful delicious kabobs ever, cold stone ice cream and on top of that i met mm at Toad in porter sq for a late night free folk show, got drenched btw porter t and the bar, and heard some really nice folk music and developed a new crush on the sweet and not so innocent rose polanzani. i have seen her a couple of times before but this venue was much more user friendly for crush development. mm was with some grrlyman stalkers and turns out they are also rose p stalkers with their mp3 recorders, digi cams, and palm pilot (not sure what that was for), oh yeah so these stalkers wanted to move up close so we were the uppermost closest table basically looking up her noise but i made mm sit the closest so i could sit second closest and skooch back a little to admire my new crush. since the rain it's cooled down a bit, and i'm no longer worried for the welfare of magoo, except that she was yodeling a lot when i came home last night. i guess she had been alone for quite a few hours at that point, which could account for the yodeling. i guess there is no telling why the cats yodel, all i know is she stopped when i came in the room and her scared eyes went back to normal eyes very shortly. and today i may do some queeraoke. after i do some other stuff of which i cannot disclose. |
