today i walked in to work at 8:20, put my stuff down, went up to the hall that i'm registering kids, and there was a line a mile long with kids waiting to register. i think they slept here. they were the "oh my god my class is going to fill up if i'm not here by 8am" type of kids. it was funny. i was totally like that too. except less anal. plus i enjoy that most of the schools i have attended have had online registration. i think that makes a lot of sense. so does the registrar that works here but he can't get the administration to go for it. so here i am. a helper bee. a helper bee that gets to leave today at 3:30! WOOHOO! i am not as tired today as i was yesterday but i am still tired, and i woke up today thinking that i might be coming down with something. that something might just be exhaustion but i'm not sure. i'm definitely interested in taking it easy this weekend. i think my next temp job i am going to have to insist that i make at least 12 dollars. nine is such a freaking rip off. i know i'm worth more than that even if half the time i'm just sitting or playing online. 12 is my low. and that's that. in the meantime i haven't been doing much job hunting on my own. it's sort of like i have a job. but i don't really. so it's confusing. also i am running a youth hostel out of my house. i haven't seen much of the youth yet. prob more over the weekend. |
