last night T and I had a date at Tum Rup, one of our favorite thai spots. we then had a nap at the walker pessle (this installation that basically is a little cave hidden into the hill of the museum). we napped there and then after we left we ended up on the grass hanging out and singing songs for a while. we topped the night off with ice cream. it was a very nice night. i've been trying to reserve a campsite for us for this weekend but i think we are out of luck. too last minute for memorial day. oh well. i think mostly i just want some time away with t. out of cell phone range. etc. but i think we'll just end up doing a day trip maybe canoeing or something like that. and then heading home. maybe we'll plan a camping trip for another weekend before she heads back to el salvador. i highly doubt it though because her whole family is moving back to town in a few weeks. i doubt we'll have another chance to get away. |
