my trip to maryland was great. my last two trips that had to do with dev (on the beach in Fla last year, and this year in Maryland) were total lifesavers. for about a week before this last trip started i hadn't seen one person (out of the office) for about 5 days. i like people. i notice when i don't see them. i notice when i have very little human contact. i was starting to get a bit down. and this trip was perfect. time with friends and babies. down time. it got me right out of my funk. and i'm hoping it'll push me right through march. and then it'll just be like 2 weeks til T comes home and hopefully keeps me company again. |
