it has been about 3 weeks since toni and i started seeing each other again. and although i've been hesitant and wary, it's been really nice. we've fallen into some of our old relationship patterns, but as far as i can tell not the ones that were really stressful. we're really making efforts at communicating the best we can and also just relaxing and enjoying each other like sitting on the couch while she does her taxes and i watch top chef. all in all a good time, i say. so i'm feeling good about it, terrified at times, but overall good. i'm noticing that since we restarted i've been lest restless, more at ease in my life again, and i've been laughing and smiling more. so yeah, that's that. |
