i had a very successful poker night last night against the guys of the gaggle plus antonia who played in her first ever competitive match (and i must say, held her own as well). i was down in the middle of the game but made it up, and then had a killer pair of pocket queens that turned into a set of queens on the flop which beat out a pair of pocket queens and a hand of ace king. it was so great! i was a slight underdog on the hand. lady luck was on my team last night. anyway, i got so tired from the crappy weather and the shoveling (of which i didn't even do that much) that i slept in which turned into taking a sick/tired day. oh well. i only work two days this week because we're going to chi-town thursday. but i'll get everything i need to get done tomorrow and wednesday. it'll just be a bit more of a crunch now that it would have been if i could have gotten myself out of bed this morning. |
