i like new music hey thanks again podcast team for playing my sufjan request i thought that would be a fitting song since you all love the michigan so much and kl and ypsi and all -- i thoroughly enjoyed it there is a band called stroke 9 that i recently heard about and really like fun stuff i got to come in late to work today, and i don't care that i'm potentially slacker like or even that i charged them for time that i wasn't here. i figure i'll just be extra productive when i am here (of course now i'm blogging, but other than that...). i spent about a million hours working on that thesis i was helping out with, and since it was a high paying gig i am now RICH! just kidding. but yeah, that was fun. i think i need another project. preferably one that will pay me at that same (quite high) rate and also will involve getting picked up from work and fed dinner (the perks of working for my mom's friend). oh and she lives in this high rise downtown with three different views of the city and MAN they have some good times there with the views. i got to experience a sweet pink/salmon sunset the other night, and the early afternoon sun on the buildings yesterday was really something special. i am excited for a minute to myself tonight though. i was pulling these full work days on top of another maybe 5 or more hour day for what feels like forever now. you know it's bad when you have netflix sitting aruond for days and can't even think about putting one in. i discovered that drawn together season one is out and i think that will be good for A LOT of laughs. the first time i saw that with sw we were like WOH, what is this funny show? and then we laughed and laughed :). anyway, it was funny. and will be funny again. |
