i am not watching the superbowl this year
which is sort of a relief
it was never my thing
but i stared blankly at it for a few hours for the last few years and drank beers. it wasn't the worst thing in the world but i won't miss it.

i do miss the person that was attached to the superbowl watching, but that's another story.

i had a nice brunch this morning. my parents had people cancel on them for dinner last night so we were treated to a salad nicoise that was enough to feed a whole army. a small army. maybe if rhode island needed an army it would feed about the size of their army.

and mac is back up and running with all his files back. so that's a relief. mostly to me but still. i didn't want to lose all those photos and music. it would be like losing part of my life. what i have collected for the last nearly 3 years.
