there is a new dar williams album out with one song accompanied by ani d funk but i still didn't buy it. i would have and but i listened to some clips and it didn't impress me that much. last night i made squash soup with cass about 40 minutes south of the cities. funny that in boston it takes 40 minutes to go from jp to the north end and here i can get to farm country in that amount of time. i had to take a nap today because i started to get crabby. i still don't feel 100% rested. maybe that's because i slept on a futon in a room where the street light was shining in on me. dunno. but i don't remember having that much of a restful night. i woke up impressed with myself for having slept at all. erin mckeown has a new cd out and i stole it from my brother to cut costs. but it's really great. i still love her. and cass has this cat named mari. she is so cute. i love her a lot. and magoo might get jealous but she is far away now so she might never have to know that i have a new cat girlfriend. plus i will have prudence (naomi's) cat for the weekend cause she'll be in canada and then we can play. except prudence is a troublemaker and likes to knock things down and be rambunctious. she doesn't just sit. which i think is funny for a cat. now i'm going to enjoy the foods my brother has cooked up for me. |
