yesterday sw and i went berry picking and to rockport for a surprise adventure day. it was hot, and blueberry picking was tricky, as there were not many ripe ones in the patch. but we managed to fill up one pint between the two of us. and then in rockport we sat by the water, took a few pics, sarah shopped, and we went for a delicious seafood (me) dinner, salad stuff (sarah) at the greenery. a little place that wanted us to have made reservations even though we didn't. and sat us anyway. there was a great view of the water from the restaurant but it was sort of far away and behind sarah's back. but still very very nice. today is sarah's interview day at quincy, then we go visit sydney cat, watch oz, go out to dinner with cyd, and sarah goes to the airport and off to colorado with her. in the meantime i will have a weekend here, probably packing up stuff and getting my return trip in order. i'm glad we got out to rockport one last time before our departures. ps when i have my doggie, emerson, she'll come out to rockport too. it's the perfect place for pups. |
