last night at queereaoke night i sang Here Comes the Sun and the man running the show really liked my rendition and then i got a prize and some lady in the audience asked me to do another song before i left, and i was flattered, but didn't want to wait around until i got my turn again. she was disappointed because she's from ptown and not in btown all the time. so when i told her i'd do one next week it didn't much appease her. and she didn't even seem all that drunk. it was just the ego boost i needed. maybe now i'll go back to playing some guitar. maybe i'll relearn those songs i wrote and forgot. maybe i'll write some more. ps sarah w leaves today and that is sad but i know that i will be okay and i'll do other things with my time other than sarah w even though i like doing sw very much. but when she is many miles away that makes it much trickier. much much trickier. |
