i got my girlfriend roses at the cambridgeside galleria today. i got her roses, both red and white ones. they are very pretty and i know she'll enjoy them. we have a big 5 month anniversary coming up soon. soon as in thursday. my girlfriend is a real sucker for the corniness, but i enjoy a little shmaltz now and again so it's fine. oooh exciting news today i found out that a paper i submitted was accepted for a cultural studies conference in may. it's my first official gig as a scholar! yes! i'm a real academic. it's official. speaking of academics i have work to do.
